Fun with Numbers
Numbers are all around us! Let's play with them.
Addition (+) is for putting things together. If you have 3 apples and you get 2 more, you have 3 + 2 = 5 apples.
Subtraction (-) is for taking things away. If you have 5 balloons and 1 pops, you have 5 - 1 = 4 balloons left.
Multiplication (x) is for adding the same number many times. 3 groups of 4 stars is 4 + 4 + 4, which is the same as 3 x 4 = 12 stars.
Let's try a problem: What is 10 + 5?
